If you arrive to boston by air, you will most likely land at Logan airport.
The easiest way to get from Logan airport to anywhere close to the CCP2014 venue or nearby hotels is by taxi. The cost should be in the range USD 35-40. Taxi stands at Logan airport are located outside each terminal.
Public transportation from Logan Airport is available by the MBTA (the Boston “T”). You can take a free shuttle bus from outside any of the terminals to the Airport T stop, or take the Silver Line to South Station. From there you can connect to other T lines (the Blue line at the Airport station and Red line at south Station). The CCP2014 venue – the George Sherman Union on the campus of Boston University – is very close to the Boston University Central stop on the Green B line (terminal station is Boston College). Tickets for the T can be purchased at the entrance of most stations. For above-ground Green B-line trains you can also purchase the ticket from the driver (bills required, change given only in the form of a card loaded with funds usable on future trips).
The 10 Buick Str residence hall is also on the Green B line. The closest stop is St Paul Str.
